Rethink Pink
Pink wine does not always mean sweet wine. It’s getting hot outside, so let the Rosé season begin! Dry Rosés are extremely popular in many famous wine regions, especially in Provence (France), Languedoc (France), Navarra (Spain), throughout Europe, and increasingly here in the US. Dry Rosés can be made from any number of red grape varietals. One of our most popular domestic Rosés is the Match Book Tempranillo Rosé.
This is the perfect wine when you want something other than a white, but a full-bodied red is just too much with the hot weather.
This week we are featuring Rosés from Europe and the US. The good news is that they are all under $10.00. We even have the La Vielle Ferme Rosé from the south of France in a 1.5 LTR bottle (equal to two 750 ml bottles) for under 10.00! These are pink wines that really pair well with a great many dishes. Enjoy these with lighter salads, a fruit plate, or just on their own.
Prices valid June 6, 2012 - June 12, 2012.
