What could possibly make a Cubano even better? Adding one of our bakery's chipotle buttermilk biscuits and a fried egg, of course.
Ingredients
- 1 chipotle buttermilk biscuit
- ½ ounce butter
- 1 large egg
- 2 ounces pork loin
- 1 slice cheddar cheese
- ½ avocado, sliced
- 4-5 pickled jalapeño slices
Preparation
Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Melt butter in the pan and coat the bottom. Add the egg and cook to desired doneness.
Slice biscuit in half horizontally and place both halves cut-side down in the pan to heat through, approximately 30 seconds.
Place heated biscuit on a plate and build the sandwich by layering pork loin, fried egg, cheddar cheese, sliced avocado and jalapeños on the bottom half. Top with the other half of the biscuit and serve immediately.
