Enjoy this authentic version of a classic Latin American favorite.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds Fresh To Market Angus Beef Bottom Round, sliced thin
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon dried chipotle pepper
- 1 bunch green onions
- 2 limes, for garnish
- 1 bunch cilantro, for garnish
Preparation
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
Mix dry seasonings together in a work bowl, then evenly cover beef with seasoning mixture. Grill quickly over high heat, about 2–3 minutes per side, then let beef rest 2–3 minutes after grilling.
While the beef is resting, lightly grill green onions. Serve with cilantro, lime wedges and warm tortillas.
