Making frozen treats at home is a great way to spend time with your little ones. Kids love being included, especially when it comes to kitchen projects. This recipe lets the littlest of the bunch practice their 1, 2, 3s!
Ingredients
- 2½ cups Berry Nectar
- 12 ripe strawberries (be sure to let your youngster count the strawberries as you wash them)
- 8 ounces vanilla yogurt
- 8, 5-ounces Wax coated paper cups
Preparation
Remove tops from strawberries. Combine all ingredients in a blender and purée for 1 min.
Divide mixture evenly among 8 paper cups. Place cups on a sheet pan and cover tightly with plastic wrap. Poke a small hole in the center of the wrap over each cup. Pass a wooden party fork or long toothpick through the hole. Place tray in freezer.
Loosen pops from cups by quickly passing the outside of the cup under hot water.
