Crispy Roasted Asparagus

This simple, savory side brings both tantalizing flavor and texture to the table with a cheesy crumb coating.
Ingredients
- ½ cup bread crumbs, toasted
- ½ cup grated Parmesan
- 2 tablespoons chopped thyme
- 1 lemon, zested
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pounds asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Preparation
Heat oven to 400°F.
Mix together all ingredients except asparagus and butter. Toss the asparagus in the melted butter to coat, then toss with about ¾ of the bread crumb mixture. Lay on a lined baking sheet in a single layer and top with remaining bread crumb mixture.
Roast in oven for 5–7 minutes or until asparagus is just tender and bread crumbs are browned. Serve immediately.
