White Glogg

More fruit-forward than spiced, this lighter version of glogg is perfect for white wine drinkers.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle unoaked chardonnay or Riesling (750 mL)
- ½ cup white rum
- ½ cup elderflower liqueur
- 1 cup apple cider
- 3-4 cloves
- 8 cardamom pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 lemon, sliced
Preparation
Combine all ingredients in a pot, heat slowly on the stove and simmer for 30 minutes. Remove from heat and refrigerate for 24 hours. Strain out ingredients (optional) and reheat to serve.
