Nugget Markets Prepares a “Dinner on the Farm” Benefiting the Center for Land Based Learning
Nugget Markets chef team creates and serves a summertime feast utilizing local products for the Dinner on the Farm series fundraiser
Woodland CA - Nugget Markets Executive Chef Stazi Dulman and his chef team are creating and presenting a fresh, locally sourced summertime outdoor feast at The Farm on Putah Creek in Winters this Saturday, August 4th from 5pm – 9pm. Proceeds benefit the Center for Land Based Learning and its many youth education programs, designed to provide local students with hands-on experience in local sustainable agriculture on California farms and ranches.
Attendees will enjoy an evening of delicious offerings, from wood-fired flat breads to fresh seafood platters and Caprese salad to roasted filet of beef with summertime vegetables and ending with various sweet treats from the Nugget Markets bakery, just to name a few items off the evening’s menu.
“The Dinner on the Farm series is a perfect fit for Nugget Markets,” says Randy Wehman, director of kitchen operations for Nugget Markets. “We’re so excited to not only create and serve a delicious meal that incorporates local ingredients, but what a pleasure it is to support the Center for Land Based Learning and its commitment to education and local agriculture. It’s a great meal for a wonderful cause!”
