Event Calendar at Nugget Markets & around town

Now in its 11th year, Jackson Elementary School's fall festival celebrates the season with a pumpkin patch, carnival games, prizes, local culinary treats, and live entertainment.  Two new events have been added: a costume contest for kids and for pets.  Sponsored by Nugget Market, this free fundraiser benefits the school and takes place from 1pm to 7pm at Jackson Elementary School, 2561 Francisco Dr.   For more information, go to www.jacksonelementary.org
