If you love local honey, you won’t want to miss this free event! The California Honey Festival will take place along Main Street in Historic Downtown Woodland with all sorts of honey-themed festivities, including a series of delicious demos hosted by Nugget Markets’ own experts!

11:00 am: Honey-Soy Beef Teriyaki with Stazi Dulman, Corporate Executive Chef 
Learn how to marinate, grill and present this honey-centric entrée starring Certified Piedmontese beef, local honey, steamed rice and Nugget Markets’ pineapple salsa.

12:00 pm: Honey, Fig & Farmer’s Cheese Empanadas with Casey Aaseth, Corporate Chef de Cuisine 
When it comes to dessert, sweeten the deal with mini pastries filled with farmer’s cheese, dried figs and pecans all wrapped in scratch-made, honey-infused pie crust.
