As part of our dedication to sustainability and social responsibility, Nugget Markets is thrilled to celebrate World Food Day with a variety of fun events! World Food Day is celebrated the world over with the goal of making healthy diets available to everyone. While it officially takes place on October 16, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations recognizes the whole month of October as dedicated to raising awareness and ending world hunger. 

If you're interested in engaging with us about our social responsibility pillar of sustainability, drop by your local Nugget Markets for one of these great events—our sustainability coordinator and green gurus will have a spinner with fun prizes for everyone who stops by!

  • Saturday, October 12: World Food Day with Nugget Markets from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Nugget Markets, El Dorado Hills
