Eligibility

The contest is open only to legal residents of the State of California who are at least 18 years of age. Nugget Market, Inc. associates and immediate family are not eligible, but extended family and friends are welcome to participate. By participating, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and all decisions of Nugget Market, Inc. with respect to the contest.

 How to Enter

To enter “Nugget Markets’ Pumpkin Carving Photo Contest” complete the online entry form found at www.nuggetmarkets.com/contests. To be eligible to win, participant must submit one (1) photograph of a pumpkin carved and/or decorated by the participant, with a Nugget Markets bag or weekly specials ad in the photo. The photo must not contain material that violates or infringes on another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement; the photo must not contain brand names or trademarks, other than that of Nugget Markets. 

ONLY ONE ENTRY PER PARTICIPANT WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE “Nugget Markets’ Pumpkin Carving Photo Contest.” 

Participants must agree to the official rules for the “Nugget Markets’ Pumpkin Carving Photo Contest” by checking the “I agree to the official contest rules” box and submitting the entry form.

Entries will be accepted from October 12, 2015 (12 a.m.) – November 1, 2015 (12 a.m.) Voting period will be November 1, 2015 (12 a.m.) – November 9, 2015 (12 a.m.). Winner will be contacted by Nugget Market, Inc. by November 11, 2015.

Prize

All properly completed entries will be eligible to win. The winner of the “Nugget Markets’ Pumpkin Carving Photo Contest” will receive a $100 Nugget Markets gift card valid only at Nugget Markets, Fork Lift by Nugget Markets in Cameron Park, and Food 4 Less in Woodland and Vallejo. Winner does not need to be present to win. Nugget Market, Inc. will contact the contest winner by November 11, 2015. Winner must claim prize in person at a Nugget Markets location within two (2) weeks of the date of notification. If the prize is not claimed within the two (2) week period, the prize shall be deemed forfeited. To receive the prize, winner must complete a liability / publicity release provided by Nugget Market, Inc.

Publication of Winning Entry and Identification of Winner

Nugget Markets may use, publish and display any entry and may publicly identify and display the name, in whole or in part, of the winning participant, though no contact or private information will be posted. Any photograph submitted may be used for in-store display signage. The winner will not receive any prize or compensation beyond the $100 Nugget Markets gift card. No substitutions. 

General Conditions

In the event that the operation, security or administration of the contest is impaired in any way for any reason, Nugget Market, Inc. may, in its sole discretion, suspend, modify and/or cancel the contest. Nugget Market, Inc. reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant Nugget Market, Inc. finds to have tampered with the entry process or to have acted in violation of these Official Rules. Nugget Market, Inc.’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision of the Official Rules.

Nugget Market, Inc. assumes no responsibility for any of the following in connection with the contest: any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to contest entries or votes; or alteration of entries or votes. Nugget Market, Inc. is further not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry or vote to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, human errors of any kind, fraud by any participant, or any combination thereof, including without limitation any injury or damage to entrants’, voters’ or any other persons’ computers related to or resulting from participation, uploading or downloading of any materials in this contest.

Privacy

By submitting photographs to our contest, your content is available to the public.

By entering, participants agree that their photograph and name may be processed, shared, and otherwise used for the purposes and within the context of the contest and any other purposes outlined in these Official Rules.

Sponsor Released from Liability

By participating in this contest, entrants agree to waive and release and hold harmless Nugget Market, Inc., and its owners, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in this contest, including, but not limited to: a) unauthorized human intervention in the contest; b) technical errors; c) printing or typographical errors; d) errors in the administration of the contest; and e) late, lost or undeliverable entries.
