2018 Green Pledge Coloring Contest
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: You need not transact any business with the Sponsors (Nugget Market, Inc.) nor pay any fee or other consideration to enter the Contest.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to individuals who are legal residents of the State of California, between the ages of 1 to 11 years old.
Children of associates, officers, employees and directors of Nugget Market, Inc. and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) are eligible.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD: Entries will be accepted throughout the promotional period, from Friday, April 6, 2018 through Sunday, April 22, 2018.
HOW TO ENTER: Either pick up your coloring sheet at the check-stand at any Nugget Markets or visit nuggetmarket.com/contests/greenpledge to download and print the PDF to color.
Limit one entry per child. Contestants may only enter at one store to be eligible. Multiple entries or multiple entries at multiple stores are not eligible to win.
PRIZES AND WINNERS: All entries will be judged for creativity and eye-catching coloring skills. Judging will take place at each store. There will be three (3) winners per store, one (1) winner per age group. Judges will deliberate and select the winners on Monday, April 23, 2018.
There will be three winners per store, one each for the following categories:
- Ages 1-5
- Ages 6-8
- Ages 9-11
Each category winner will receive a Nugget Markets Gold Coin worth the value of $10.00 towards a purchase at Nugget Markets, and a 16-ounce (or smaller) Klean Kanteen. The Nugget Markets Gold Coin cannot be redeemed for cash.
All winning coloring sheets will be posted on Nugget Markets’ Facebook profiles in a gallery titled 2018 Green Pledge. The first name, last initial and age of each entrant will be shared with the photo along with the Nugget Markets location where they entered the contest, but no other identification of the child.
WINNERS’ CONDITIONS: All winners must agree to all of the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and sign documents, agreements and releases. Winner or guardian of the winner must sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Publicity Waiver and Release, provided by Sponsor. All documents, agreements and releases must be completed by two weeks after date of notification.
The Prize may not be substituted, transferred or exchanged. If a Winner cannot or does not accept the Prize as stated in these Official Rules, the Prize will be forfeited.
NOTIFICATION OF AND REQUIRED ACTION BY POTENTIAL WINNERS: Sponsor will notify winners via email or phone between Monday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 25, 2018. To become a Winner, each notified nominee must complete, execute and deliver to Sponsor within seven (7) days of the notification, the following forms to be supplied by Sponsor: (a) Affidavit of Eligibility, (b) Publicity Release. Winners who do not return the completed forms and take possession of the Prize within the designated time period will be disqualified and forfeit the prize.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: The Winner must take possession of the Prize, in person, no later than Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Promotion or website, or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any use of robotic, macro, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods will void all such entries and subject any participant using any such method to disqualification.
Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may publicly identify and display art and first name, last initial and age of each winning entrant. Winners will not receive any prize or compensation beyond the prizes described in this Official Rules.
SPONSOR RELEASED FROM LIABILITY: By participating in the Contest, Winners agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsors, and their owners, directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest, including but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors; (c) printing or typographical errors; (d) errors in the administration of the Contest; and (e) late, lost or undeliverable mail or email.
DISPUTES: Winners agree that any dispute arising out of the Contest shall be resolved by the Superior Court of the State of California in and for the County of Yolo or the County of Marin. The laws of the State of California, without regard to any conflict of law rules, shall apply.
Contest void where and to the extent prohibited by law.
