At Nugget Markets, we strive to use the best local produce in our kitchens, 365 days a year (or, as is the case in 2012, 366 days!). At different times of the year, you will find dishes in our deli case that incorporate leeks, beets, eggplant, tomatoes, squash and other delicious produce items, all grown locally.
Just because you’re gluten intolerant doesn’t mean you have to live without Nugget Markets’ delicious deli sandwiches! Did you know that in our delis you can request gluten–free bread for your sandwich?
Next time you’re at Nugget Markets, stop by the bakery and say hi to your store’s artisan baker (tip: they’re easy to spot—they’re the ones covered in flour!). Each of our stores has at least two artisan bakers who have spent a minimum of two weeks of intensive training in their craft, and two more weeks apprenticed to a veteran artisan baker, before they take the reins on their own.
The Botran family has been making rum in Guatemala for six decades. This Reserva won a Gold Medal at the Ministry of Rum's 2010 tasting competition. It is a blend of rums aged 5 to 14 years using the same multi-barrel aging process as their Solera.
At Nugget Markets, we’re proud to offer some of the finest restaurant-quality seafood available. And in addition to our quality, one thing that sets our seafood department apart is our use of the FishWise labeling program, which allows our guests to select seafood based on sustainability.
No football celebration's complete without Nugget's Fresh to Market wings! We use the same all-natural, free-range chicken for our wings that we use for our rotisserie chickens, dressed up as a fun and tasty game-day treat!
If you like the Fresh to Market chicken from our meat department, you’ll love the Fresh to Market Rotisserie chickens in the deli. These are locally raised, free range, all-natural chickens from Sonoma County. They are fed an all-natural vegetable diet with no animal by-products; they are raised longer and handled humanely, which results in a more flavorful bird.
Looking for two bites of heaven — on a stick? Try our cake pops! They’re delicious, adorable and available in either white or chocolate cake varieties, both covered in dipping chocolate. They’re the perfect little treat to satisfy your sweet tooth.
It’s football season and the big game is just around the corner. If you’re stressing about whether your favorite team will take home the championship this year, distract yourself by planning the important things, like what you will be eating during the big game!
