Next time you’re at Nugget Markets, stop by the bakery and say hi to your store’s artisan baker (tip: they’re easy to spot—they’re the ones covered in flour!). Each of our stores has at least two artisan bakers who have spent a minimum of two weeks of intensive training in their craft, and two more weeks apprenticed to a veteran artisan baker, before they take the reins on their own.

Holiday Yule Log: Could There Be a More Adorable Dessert?
Yule Logs are a holiday tradition here at Nugget Market. Thin, alternating layers of cake and rich buttercream icing form the log base of this classic French cake. A blanket of chocolate icing completes the cake’s “log” appearance, and festive holiday sugar pieces and hand spun decorations add to the ambiance. No holiday meal is complete without dessert, and our bakeries have just the thing — pies! We’re offering a huge selection of pies for the holidays, including beautiful lattice top fruit-filled pies, no-sugar-added full-crust pies, and meringue and cream pies. And of course, don’t forget the holiday staples like pumpkin and pecan.
