Who We’re Supporting: Vaca Fish Food Pantry
Since 1971, Vaca Fish (Friends In Service of the Hungry) Food Pantry has been on a mission to eliminate hunger in the Vacaville area with the help of volunteers and donations. This amazing all-volunteer nonprofit has no payroll and keeps expenses low by renting their facility from the City of Vacaville. This means donations go farther, and helps them serve 200 local families in need per month.

For years, we at Nugget Markets have been honored to help support the American Red Cross through thick and thin. From wildfire and hurricane relief to our current battle against COVID-19, the American Red Cross makes it their mission to alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.

Serving the Yolo County region, CommuniCare Health Centers provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare services to anyone in the community regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. Their services are delivered by a dedicated team of providers and support staff at their clinic sites in Woodland, Davis and West Sacramento, and through outreach programs. Their goal is to develop and maintain long-term, healing partnerships with each of their patients while ensuring the best possible health outcomes.

For more than 50 years, PRIDE Industries has been creating job opportunities for people with disabilities or barriers to employment, including our nation's veteran heroes, youth emancipating from foster care and survivors of human trafficking. By offering a variety of employment services as well as vocational training, scholarships and internships, PRIDE aims to help people realize their full potential as they make meaningful contributions to their communities through employment.

This amazing organization helps women who commit to changing their futures to learn new skills and become productive community members.

Who We’re Supporting: Whistlestop
Whistlestop is a nonprofit in Marin County that helps older adults and those with disabilities stay active in the community. We’re honored to have supported this wonderful nonprofit since our early days in Marin! Their regular programs include transportation and nutrition services, classes, workshops, and peer counseling from volunteers.

Who We’re Supporting: Yolo Food Bank
For more than 25 years, Nugget Markets has been proud to partner with Yolo Food Bank in their mission of feeding our local communities. In recent months, their services have proven even more invaluable. In mid-March, the Yolo Food Bank launched a COVID-19 Relief Fund, a rapid-response community-driven effort to supply emergency nutritional support to county residents who have been devastated by the pandemic.
