For many families, it’s a Halloween tradition to carve Jack o’ lanterns to display outside the home. Nugget Markets’ 22nd Bag Off was a huge success! Every one of our stores from Sacramento Valley to Marin County brought their A-game at this year’s UBC-themed competition to find the Ultimate Bagging Champion. Of all the skilled baggers to compete, Clayton C. from our Vacaville store, Shelby G. (El Dorado Hills), Yasmin R. (West Sacramento) and Elsa I. (Davis on Mace Blvd.) pulled out all the stops to become UBC finalists. At the end of the night, Clayton C. took home the champion belt!
Every participant and guest showed amazing spirit and support for our awesome baggers. Our West Sacramento store pushed the limits and took home the coveted Spirit Award! Clayton will go on to represent Nugget Markets at the National Best Bagger competition in Las Vegas on February 29th. Wish us luck!
