For nearly 100 years, Nugget Market has been committed to supporting local nonprofits and important causes in our communities, because that's the heart of what we do. That's also why it's such an honor to be recognized as #17 on People’s list of Companies that Care. While many of our philanthropic efforts manifest as donations, sponsorships and participation in local events, it’s not just our company that cares—it’s our associates!

Along with company-level support, our store-level associates are making waves of their own! Each store has a designated Community Ambassador who has a passion for philanthropy and works to motivate others in their store. As part of their role, they organize Community Fieldwork Projects to inspire volunteerism, foster a sense of community and family, encourage camaraderie, and leverage our culture and commitment to constant improvement—which all impact our communities (and team!) in a positive way.
