CARE TIPS:
Where to Begin? Cut the stems at an angle, then place in a vase with cool water and display in a temperate room with plenty of sunshine.
Stubborn Buds? If you have buds that aren’t opening, try dunking them in room temperature water for a few seconds before placing back in the vase.
Longest Life? To keep the blooms fresh as long as possible, think cool thoughts! Colder temperatures can help extend the life of your cut peonies, so try adding some ice to the vase or storing them in the fridge when not actively enjoying them.
Droopy Blooms? Refrigerating is also a great way to get your peonies to perk up if they’re looking a little down and out. Simply freshen their water, give them a new cut and let them chill out until things are looking up.
Season too Short? Remove any leaves from the stems of peony buds before they bloom, then wrap and seal them snugly in damp paper towels or plastic wrap and place them in (you guessed it!) the refrigerator until you’re ready to enjoy.
