If you’re eating a Traditional Holiday Meal with Turkey, try drinking…
Hall Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc: The complex and diverse flavors found in this wine range from ripe tropical fruits and vibrant citrus to aromatic white flowers and notes of ginger, making it an ideal food wine. The ripe fruit notes bring out the delicate flavors in traditional roasted turkey while the citrusy side complements the rest of the side dishes.
Mossback Russian River Pinot Noir: The cooler climate of the Russian River Valley produces pinot noirs with the perfect balance of ripe berry fruit notes and underlying acidity, making them extremely versatile and food-friendly. This one is no exception with dark cherry, licorice and cola notes, a silky texture and a long finish with hints of vanilla and cedar.
If you’re eating a Traditional Holiday Meal with Ham, try drinking…
Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier Blend: Since ham can have a salty overtone to it, play off that with a wine that has a little sweetness to counteract it on the palate. Both the chenin blanc and viognier grapes in this blend bring sweet notes of honeysuckle and ripe melon that will keep the saltiness in harmony.
Diora La Belle Fête Rosé of Pinot Noir: Rosé wines are a great food pairing choice when you don’t want a white wine, or when a traditional red might be too much. Rosés have red fruit notes and a little more underlying acidity to help cleanse the palate between bites. Mostly pinot noir with a splash of grenache, syrah and chardonnay, this one is highlighted by strawberry, watermelon and honeydew melon.
