Cabbage Patch
What you’ll need:
- Large plate
- Small glass
- Head of curly cabbage
- Bunch of curly kale
- Happy St. Patty’s Day bouquet (or your chosen flowers)
Trim off and reserve individual leaves from the cabbage until about a third remains. Carefully spread out the outer leaves, then remove the center leaves with a knife, trim flat and place on a plate. Fill glass with water and floral food, and tape a grid over the top. Place in the center of the cabbage head, then arrange cabbage leaves around the glass, using smaller leaves first and overlapping slightly. Make your arrangement in the glass and use curly kale to fill in any gaps.
Top of the Morning
What you’ll need:
- Irish oatmeal can (or other Irish-themed container)
- Luck of the Irish bouquet (or your chosen flowers)
- Curly kale, optional
Fill an oatmeal can with water and floral food, then tape a grid on the top. Place flowers in the prepared container, arranging to your liking. If you need to add extra filler, try using curly kale to add texture and greenery.
Sláinte!
What you’ll need:
- Beer bottles or glasses
- Neve roses or gerbera daisies (or your chosen flowers)
Use empty beer bottles or your favorite beer glass as a vase for a simple yet festive St. Patrick’s Day arrangement. For wider-mouthed glasses, tape a grid over the top to arrange your flowers more easily.
