In 2008, Humphry Slocombe founders, Jake Godby and Sean Vahey, brought their frozen world of fun to the ice cream lovers of San Francisco. With a passion for all things creamy and dreamy, they leave no flavor combination unexplored, no matter how surprising. We’re proud to share their fun and flavorful pints at Nugget Markets.
With our California sun, high-quality ice cream is a must, and locally made ice cream is even better! In 2008, Humphry Slocombe founders, Jake Godby and Sean Vahey, brought their frozen world of fun to the ice cream lovers of San Francisco. With a passion for all things creamy and dreamy, they leave no flavor combination unexplored, no matter how surprising. They named their shop after a favorite 1970s sitcom, “Are You Being Served?” and they literally wrote the Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream Book. We’re proud to share their fun and flavorful pints at Nugget Markets.
Guests can visit our frozen section to find a few shop favorites such as:
- Blue Bottle Vietnamese Coffee: A blend of Blue Bottle's Giant Steps espresso, sweetened condensed milk and chicory.
- Limited Edition: Browned butter ice cream with loops of blueberry jam swirl.
- Salted Caramel: Salted caramel ice cream with cocoa nibs.
- Strawberry Blondie: Strawberry ice cream with house-made white chocolate chip blondies flooded in.
