Fiddlehead Cellars Happy Canyon Sauvignon Blanc: One of several sauvignon blancs from this producer, this one is like its Loire Valley cousins in France. It boasts a beautiful, silky mouthfeel from ⅓ fermentation in stainless steel, ⅓ in neutral French oak and ⅓ in new French oak.
2019 Diora Rosé of Pinot Noir: When tasting this wine, you would never guess it’s the inaugural vintage. It is very complex and well put together for their first effort of a rosé. The blend is mostly pinot noir with some grenache giving it big strawberry notes, and a splash of chenin blanc for some enticing aromatics. Wine Enthusiast Magazine gave it 91 points.
Quinta Vale Dona Maria Rufo: Not only is the full name of this wine a mouthful to say, the wine itself is delicious to drink! We found this gem of a red from the Douro Valley in Portugal. You can expect to taste the big red fruits with hints of balsamic and dark chocolate notes, plus supple tannins from time in new and used oak.
2018 Têtu Rosé: A terrific effort here from the Côtes du Roussillon region in the southwest corner of France. Enjoy as a light and refreshing sipper on the palate with rose petal aromas, charming strawberry and dark cherry fruit dominating.
