Spirit Elves Reporting for Duty

Just in time for the holidays, we’ve got 14 unique and fabulous Spirit Elves reporting for duty! Each Nugget Markets store has its very own Spirit Elf wandering the aisles, making mischief and spreading holiday cheer. Even if you can’t visit them all in person, you can still get to know our awesome elves here, and vote for your favorite on our Facebook poll!

Covellf – Davis, Covell: Covellf the Spirit Elf has decked himself out in gold glitter in celebration of Nugget Markets’ 90 years, and he wears a cape because he likes it! An environmentally-minded elf, he rides his bike around the North Pole and to commute back from the store daily. He also implemented a composting program with all the unused candy in Santa’s workshop. He has a B.A. in “Joy Cultivation” from UC Santa Claus, plays soccer and created the first intramural “Soccer on Ice Skates” team at the North Pole!

Mace’tro – Davis, Mace: Mace’tro is the resident elf and maestro of our Davis store on Mace Blvd.! He is always dressed to impress with his Mighty Mace ears and cape, and ensures that everyone helps deliver world-class service. He has a LOVE of food and is always having fun—like sledding down the seafood case on a fresh-baked bagel or even having an after hours holiday party in the produce department!

Goldie – El Dorado Hills: Goldie the Elf is the prosperous elf of El Dorado Hills. His dedication to guest service and FUN! FUN! FUN! has given him the affluence to be the fanciest of elves! Goldie feels that every day is deserving of a tuxedo and prefers to wind down the day with a glass of Rombauer. This stylish elf has been practicing his glamour poses in eager anticipation of this year's appearances. Drop by this holiday season to for your chance to see Goldie in all his splendor!

Sparta – Elk Grove: THIS. IS. SPARTA!!! Elk Grove’s great gladiator elf is here and she is armed with a warm heart and a sleigh full of holiday cheer! You can find Sparta at war against grumpiness and stressed out holiday moods, and fighting for happy guests and giggles by getting into amusing shenanigans all around the Elk Grove store.

Wolfie – Roseville: Wolfie is here to ring in the howwwwlidays! You can find Wolfie dancing or telling jokes all around the store, just like the store director, Jonathan. Wolfie loves to eat and is often found in the meat department checking out some delicious prime rib. Mostly, he can be seen helping his fellow associates deliver world-class guest service and spreading some howwwwliday cheer!

Lil’ P from the Pocket – Sacramento: Welcome our Florin store’s newest member: Lil' P from the Pocket! He is wearing a Nugget Markets original that is both fashionable and waterproof (which helps during cart returns). This lil’ guy loves to make a fashion statement and enjoys being in the spotlight. Be on the lookout because Lil' P is coming to town!

Elfis – Vacaville: Coming to you live from Nugget Markets in Vacaville… it's Elfis!! He's taking a break from his worldwide tour to give Santa a hand with his list. So, don't step on his blue suede shoes or you'll have a blue, blue Christmas! #thankyouverymuch

Buttercup – West Sacramento: Buttercup the Bakery Elf is a little sugar and a little spice. Buttercup can usually be found up above watching all the Nugget Markets associates as they work away. You can always count on Buttercup to lend a helping hand or simply bring you something sweet!

Charlie – Woodland: What’s up, Woodland? Meet Charlie! He has a fun personality and a smile so big you can't keep your eyes off him. He has tons of energy that he likes to use to jump from one spot to another. You’ll never guess where he winds up next!

Noelf – Corte Madera: Noelf had a hard time finding a shelf until she stumbled upon all the cheer found at the Corte Madera ice box, yes right here! She doesn't mind the commute, she doesn't mind the cold, Because everyone here wants her to have and to hold.

Elf Curry – Novato: Meet our very own Novato Warrior, Elf Curry (not to be confused with Steph Curry)! Elf Curry came down from the North Pole to help the Warrior NBA basketball team have such a great season, but had to go back on special assignment for game 7... and well, you know the rest. Elf Curry is now at our Novato store overseeing the team and making sure that we're bringing good cheer, providing great QUALITY product and service!

Shellie – Tiburon: Meet Shellie! She loves hanging out in the cove and swimming amongst the sharks. You can find her on her tropical holiday vacation with a lemonade always in hand. She left her shell belt at home for this picture, but if you visit her in person she will be hula-ing the days away over here in Tiburon!

Lady Snow – Fork Lift, Cameron Park: Both majestic and mischievous, Lady Snow jingled all the way from the North Pole to keep watch over Fork Lift this holiday season. She wears a blue ribbon in honor of Hanukkah celebrations and carries a super-sized fork to dig into unattended holiday desserts. Be careful where you put your pie, or you might find it missing an elf-sized bite!

Melvin – Food 4 Less, Woodland: Melvin is proud to wear his Food 4 Less uniform and rock his holiday spirit! He has a Christmas hat and boots, snowflake gloves and a candy cane broomstick. He loves keeping the store clean for our guests and for Santa. In his downtime, Melvin loves to make toys and he loves! loves! loves! Christmas cookies!
