Made fresh by the local Sacramento bakery, this sweetly sophisticated princess torte is fit for a queen. Vanilla sponge cake is filled with a thin layer of raspberry preserves, pastry cream and whipped cream, then covered with a smooth layer of almond marzipan and decorated with a chocolate tree with delicate sugar cherry blossoms.
