Then select the essential oil(s) to include in massage oil. Since essential oils all have unique properties, our healthy living specialists have made note of a few favorites to consider when creating massage oils.

Relaxing Oil: Combine equal parts of marjoram and chamomile essential oils (use 14-35 drops of oil), and mix well. Then combine essential oils with one ounce of your chosen carrier oil or lotion, and shake.
Warming Oil: Combine equal parts of juniper and ginger essential oils (use 14-35 drops of oil), and mix well. Then combine essential oils with one ounce of your chosen carrier oil or lotion, and shake.
Cooling Oil: Combine 14-35 drops of peppermint essential oil with one ounce of your chosen carrier oil or lotion, and shake.
Anti-inflammatory Oil: Combine 14-35 drops of eucalyptus essential oil with one ounce of your chosen carrier oil or lotion, and shake.
Energizing Oil: Combine equal parts lemon, lavender and rosemary oil (use 14-35 drops of oil), and mix well. Then combine essential oils with one ounce of your chosen carrier oil or lotion, and shake.
If you’d like to make more than one ounce of massage oil, simply multiply recommended blend ratios by the total amount of massage oil desired. We recommend making 2-3 ounces at a time. If you're unsure of desired potency, add small amounts of essential oil blend to the carrier oil or lotion at a time, until desired blend is reached. Once massage oil is made, you’re ready for a relaxing massage!
