Jul 2008 4	Woodlands 4th of July celebration offers a variety of fun summer activities and treats along with a spectacular fireworks show thats choreographed to music and simulcast throughout all of Woodland on local cable TV. Starting with a pre-show at 6:00 p.m., the fireworks are launched at 9:30 p.m at the Woodland high school football stadium. Pre-show activities include a rock climbing wall, three bounce houses, a delicious barbeque, and many other tasty treats and festivities. Jul 2008 4	In keeping with its 14-year-old tradition, the popular, family-oriented 4th of July Parade is presented by the Pocket/Greenhaven community of Sacramento. Parade begins at 10:00 a.m. at Parkway Oaks Park on So. Land Park Dr. , (next to Lisbon Elementary School), travels down Wind Bridge Dr., ending at Garcia Bend Park.

Jul 2008 26	This community event raises funds to buy backpacks and school supplies, such as desks, school clothes, and bike helmets, for underprivileged children throughout Yolo County. Family Fun Day is packed with festivities, music, games, contests, great food, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Event takes place at the Gibson House in Woodland from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
