Who’s Your Green Guru?

At Nugget Markets, we strive to improve every day including our sustainability practices through our team of passionate Green Gurus. Our Green Gurus inspire passion for sustainability. 

Who’s your Green Guru? Do you know a passionate person who is relentless in his/her efforts to help make the local community and environment better? How is he/she reducing waste, energy consumption and inspiring you to have a sustainability mindset in everything you do?

Nominate your Green Guru and he/she could win a $100 Nugget Markets Gift Card and a reusable Nugget Markets tote bag. If your Nominee wins, then you’ll also get a reusable Nugget Markets tote bag!

Here’s how the contest will work (check out the Official Rules by clicking the tab above):

1. Click “Enter”, put in YOUR contact info in the entry form—we will be contacting you if your Nominee wins.
2. Upload a photo of your Green Guru.
3. In the description: put your Green Guru’s first name and last initial. Describe what makes this person your Green Guru—what does he/she do? What is the impact?
4. Entries will be accepted until 12:00 a.m. on April 18, 2016.
5. There will be two winning entries: The Green Guru Pick and the People’s Choice.
6. Voting for the People’s Choice begins April 18, 2016, at 12:00 a.m. through April 19, 2016.
7. If your Nominee wins either pick, you will be contacted on April 19, and the Winner will be publicly announced on April 22 (see Official Rules for details).
