Eggless Egg Nog

Nugget Quick & Easy Recipe

Lets face it, not many of us want to separate eggs, whisk them with sugar until they ribbon, and then temper them with milk and strain them through a sieve.  The other alternative is using raw eggs, which is fine for some, but not everyone.  So Nugget Market is offering you an easy way to make egg nog without the eggs.  Its got all the classic flavor with none of the fuss.  Mix it with Grand Marnier or Cognac to make a delicious adult version.

Preparation

Put everything in a pot except for the tapioca flour.  Bring just to a boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer.  Allow to simmer for ten minutes so the flavors can bloom.  Whisk in the tapioca flour and remain on the heat until thickened.

 Allow to cool and serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg for garnish.

For an adult version add 1 ounce of Grand Marnier, or your favorite brandy.
