Every month, Nugget Market holds the gift card drawing for all guests who have participated in the price survey. All guests are invited to take the survey, whereby the guest compares the prices of 25 commonly purchased items to those prices offered by Nugget’s competitors (Raley’s, Bel Air, and Safeway). Consistently, Nugget Market beats the competition 8 out of 10 times. Price survey results are posted in each Nugget Market.
“I am newly retired and have a fixed budget. I had been counseled that Nugget would not be in my budget. Every survey proves them wrong. I continue to tell my friends about the low prices, the people, cleanliness, and beauty of the store,” says Mary Smart. On September 6, Ms. Smart took the survey and compared Nugget Market’s prices to Raley’s prices, and Nugget Market won the survey with a savings of $4.91.
