Nugget Markets and the American Heart Association along with the AHA’s Go Red for Women campaign are committed to promoting heart-healthy lifestyles for everyone.

In keeping with that vision, Nugget Markets proudly partners with the American Heart Association and the 2013 Go Red for Women for the Children’s Heart Art Challenge, sponsored by Nugget Markets.

Thus educational outreach is designed to bring heart-health awareness to local 4thand 5thgraders in a fun way by inviting students from local schools to take the Heart Art Challenge, using art to describe what it means to be heart healthy.

Thanksgiving Feast Winners!

Congratulations to our ten lucky Thanksgiving Feast Winners! This Thanksgiving, Nugget Markets’ kitchens prepared and gave away 10 Complete Holiday Meals, each of which fed up to ten people and included a Whole Cooked Diestel Turkey with Turkey Gravy and the winner’s choice of mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, root vegetables, cranberries and rolls!

Thank you to all who came out and helped make our Grand Re-Opening Bash such a success! Our guests got a chance to check out our remodel and enjoy tasty samples, and there was even cupcake decorating for the kids! Congratulations to our lucky gift basket winner, Jenny R., who took home a basketful of our delicious Fresh to Market products! Our store director, Dave Welch, was excited to reveal the remodel, "A great time was had by all, and it was great to see our guests excited about our new look! We’re thrilled with our new-and-improved store and so thankful to have such amazing guests to fill it with."

Congrats to our $8,500 Gift Card Winner!

Keona Noble submitted one entry form during our giveaway contest, and her entry form was the winner, randomly selected from more than 30,000 submitted entries both on-line and at each Nugget Market.

In celebration of our 85th anniversary, we held the gift card contest from September 28 through December 28th, 2011, and Noble’s winning entry form was selected on January 1, 2012.

“Nugget in West Sacramento is my favorite grocery store!” says Noble. “Everyone is so welcoming every time I visit, and I even know most of the associates on a first-name basis. I love Nugget Market!”

John Sullivan, the store director of the West Sacramento Nugget Market, was thrilled to hear the news that a frequent West Sacramento guest was the $8,500 gift card winner. “What a pleasure it is to serve the West Sacramento community, and all of us at the store are beyond excited to know that ‘one of our own’ was the lucky winning guest!” said Sullivan.

Tiffany compared our prices on 25 commonly purchased items, stacking up our prices to those of Bel Air. In Tiffany’s survey, Nugget Markets beat Bel Air’s prices by $16.00!
